Technology should be an enabler, but for many organisations it's a source of friction.
Not because they lack ambition or capability, but because the landscape is complex and navigating it without the right strategic guidance is tough. Decisions that shape your future are too often made without clear support - or worse, influenced by advice that serves someone else’s interests.
Enable Great was founded in response to a pattern we saw time and time again: smart businesses making critical technology decisions without access to clear, impartial, and experienced leadership. With decades of senior technology experience behind us, we recognised the need for something different — a new kind of advisory service built on trusted relationships, grounded insight, and a genuine focus on helping others make meaningful progress.
This is about bridging the gap between what businesses need and what they can access - helping leaders make confident technology decisions that drive progress, capability, and growth.
Our Ethos
At Enable Great, we believe that the right technology decisions don’t just support the business. They shape it. That belief runs through everything we do.
We’re guided by values that prioritise clarity over complexity, substance over noise, and integrity over influence. This isn’t about presenting the slickest pitch or selling the loudest solution, it’s about doing what’s right, every time.
Independence with Integrity
No vendor partnerships. No solution bias. Just honest advice focused on your success.
Clarity in Complexity
We make the complex understandable so you can make confident decisions that move your business forward.
Impact Over Appearance
No fluff. No posturing. Just the work that matters, delivered with clarity and intent.
Built Around You
We adapt to you, not the other way round; helping you grow capability, not dependency.
True advisory work isn’t about taking the spotlight; it’s about helping others shine. That means listening first, shaping the right direction together, and focusing on outcomes that matter.
We seek to guide, not impress. To ask the right questions, challenge assumptions when needed, and provide support that’s grounded, honest, and constructive.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build something meaningful: a technology advisory known for integrity, expertise, and genuine partnership. This vision extends beyond any single project or engagement - it’s about setting a new standard for how impartial technology leadership should be delivered.
We want Enable Great to be the natural choice for organisations who believe technology should unlock progress, and who see the potential for it to be a driver for meaningful change. We aspire to build a team of exceptional advisors who share this commitment to client success, independence, and the belief that technology leadership should empower rather than overwhelm.
We aim to demonstrate that expertise doesn’t require ego, that greatness trumps size, and that the most sophisticated strategies are often the most elegantly simple.
Every engagement we take, every relationship we build, every outcome we deliver moves us closer to that vision. Because when our clients succeed, we succeed — and helping them achieve greatness through technology is what drives us forwards.
Our Expertise
Enable Great is led by Kelvin Papp, bringing over 20 years of experience in IT leadership, including 10 years in senior technology roles - most recently as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer for one of the UK's leading Microsoft-focused service providers.
That background shapes Enable Great's approach. Kelvin has lived and breathed the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem for years with experience spanning Infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Data, AI, Identity, Security, and Compliance - not just building these environments and leading teams through transformation, but owning the strategic direction, shaping product and service offerings around Microsoft capabilities, and carrying direct operating and delivery responsibility for delivering customer value at scale.
Kelvin understands how Microsoft operates, how to navigate the vendor relationship effectively, and how to translate strategic insights from their roadmap into practical decisions that serve customer contexts effectively. That understanding has been strengthened through direct collaboration with Microsoft over many years - contributing operational insights through private advisory groups, shaping product development based on deployment realities, and supporting certification framework development for Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Security.
We bring that perspective to organisations who need independent guidance on their most important technology decisions, without the conflicts that come from commercial partnerships or product sales.
